The Catacombs

Sorry that this took so long to get up. On Sunday we went to the Catacombs. This is an underground final resting point for roughly 6 million people. In the 1700's many people where getting sick due to dead bodies that died due to the plague. So, they decided to move the dead to the underground Catacombs. The Catacombs is one of the creepiest place I have ever been. It is about six to seven stories underground. On the way down, you think that the stairs will never end. Once in the Catacombs, it is very cold. We had to make our down a long dark hallway. Then we came upon a room with small buildings and a wishing well. Next, we entered into the area where the dead bodies where located. The walls were made from bones. It was very scary. Overall I would recommend the Catacombs to anyone. The only problem I had is that I am a little claustrophobic in such a small area. Well check out the Video.

The Catacombs is a creepy, but much visited place. Your video gives me a pretty good idea of what's there...lots of old bones.

WOW, I had no idea they had places like that. The Catacombs look really creepy. And I'm not sure I'd be able to stand enclosed spaces, especially ones with human bones everywhere.
